Biography

Sheikh Daud Mishkati (RA) was a distinguished scholar whose early education covered Quranic exegesis, Hadith, logic, metaphysics, and Persian belles-lettres. He became renowned for his sharp intellect, earning the title Mishkati (the radiant lamp), referencing both his clarity of teaching and his mastery of the classical text Mishkat al-Maṣabiḥ.

He later entered the Qadiriyya order and balanced rigorous scholarship with spiritual practice, becoming one of the most respected religious guides of his time.
