Biography

Sheikh Abdul Raḥman Trali (RA) hailed from a respected family in Tral and was educated in Quranic recitation, Hadith, jurisprudence, and Persian prose. His pursuit of spiritual depth led him to the Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi tradition under a mentor connected to the Trali line established by earlier Naqshbandi masters.

Known for his disciplined lifestyle, devotion to silent contemplation, and strong moral teachings, he became one of the most prominent Naqshbandi figures in south Kashmir.
